Come out to VU and Project 58 on Thursday April 16th from 2pm to 5pm for the Vans Driving the Business RV tour. It will be FREE to skate and there will be some free food and goodies provided by Vans as well. Best thing about the RV stop is that Vans pro Geoff Rowley will be here himself, hanging out with everyone. This will be a great event. Get here as early as you can.
As mentioned in the previous post, here are April’s Nike SB releases that dropped yesterday. Some items to note: the third and fourth SB Am Custom Series 3 shoes; the un-Heaven’s Gate Dunk High, and a good Tre AD with a hemp treatment on the heel. I guess the Nike SB crew’s trying to get as much as possible shipped before the end of the first business quarter of the year. If you’re into sneakers, it’s to your advantage. The shoes are in now and on sale!!! April’s SB drop includes the third and fourth Custom Series releases — this time OG VU rider Justin Brock gets his own workwear-inspired Dunk Mid and the ATL’s own Grant Taylor designed a banging Blazer Elite. There’s also a new Dunk High, a restock of the original black/white Blazer, a white/red Blazer Low, a clean Tre AD and a colorful Classic. Look for pics and details tomorrow.
Vertical Urge has been hand selected by Nixon to carry their new, ultra-limited Rubber Player series of watches. Here’s the gist: On the 15th of the month from March through June, Nixon will release a new color in the Rubber Player. Each dealer selected to carry the line will receive 4 of these watches. First up is the blue colorway. Come down to the shop and peep one for yourself.

Vans Syndicate has gotten together with WTaps again for another awesome collaboration. This time the shoes have a more old school feel and are dubbed the Greaserz “S”. The shoes feature a lightweight canvas upper, a mid sole extends to a rubber toe cap, and some ollie guards to give some extra protection. A beautiful tag featuring both company logos and slogans is carefully stitched to the tongue.
