We just got in the Emerica Stay Gold Deluxe Edition DVD. The DVD is packaged with a photo book that is an inside look at the Emerica Team from 2000-2010.This is an interesting view into the making of the film featuring photos you won’t see anywhere else.

September Nike SB, Part 2

The second wave of Nike SB shoes for September has arrived. This time we have a great, SF Giants inspired Dunk Low (Black/Orange Blaze) and a hometown Bruin (University Blue/Neutral Grey). These are both pretty strong colorways, for sure. — EDIT: the picture below is an older, stock photo from Nike. The Dunk does in fact have a fat tongue, as will all Dunk Low’s from this point forward.

Volcom Give Jeans A Chance is Back!

Volcom is doing their Give Jeans A Chance promotion again this fall, and VU has been selected as a drop-off spot once again. In case you didn’t participate last year, here’s the gist: stop by the shop and drop off any pair of WEARABLE jeans, which will in turn be donated to the National Coalition for the Homeless. In turn you get a Volcom trucker cap, a Volcom pin, and/or bumper sticker. And the icing on the cake is one lucky winner will get a whole year’s worth supply of Volcom Brand Denim or a $1000 prize pack. The film will feature a full part of Dylan, filmed over the last 18 months. This year has been an intense skateboarding year for Dylan with tours and filming and he recently became a co-owner of a private skate park for the pro’s only in an undisclosed location in Los Angeles. Emerica Stay Gold Premiere, Tuesday 8/31 at Fuhgeddaboutit Pizza

We are hosting the area premiere of the brand-new Emerica video, Stay Gold! We will be having the premiere at our local pizza spot, Fuhgeddaboutit on Tuesday August 31st at 8pm. We will kick down for some pizza and soda’s, and there will be a limited amount of Stay Gold swag for the crowd. And of course, it’s free to come out and watch.

Capita 2011 Snowboards Are Here

Most of the new 2011 model Capita snowboards have arrived and are available to buy in our online shop. We’re super-excited about the new lineup Capita is dropping for this season, as they continue to produce some of the smoothest riding boards, with the most killer graphics anywhere, all for pretty reasonable prices. Nightshade Blazer SB and Canvas Janoski Available Now

The first part of Nike SB’s September release (yes, I said September) arrived at the shop this morning. There are three shoes in total - the Blazer SB in Nightshade/Black, an all canvas Zoom Stefan Janoski of epic proportions (Anthracite/Jetstream), and a full restock on the OG Blazer SB in Black/White. The rest of the September release will probably arrive in the next week or so.
