The skateboarding community lost a true hero yesterday. Van Wastell fell from his hotel window in Berlin, Germany and passed away. Van had just gotten his first board from Krooked and was well on his way. You will be missed.

We just received the latest Fine Art Series decks from Krooked. This time they have been done by the Clayton brothers, Rob and Christian. Two separate skate decks, one sick portrait. Only 300 of each produced.

We will be hosting a benefit event with Loaded Skateboards out of Wake Forest this Saturday, September 5th, at 9:30 pm. There will be a $5.00 donation to get in at the door and there will be a few bands (including our own lovable Frank Hazard) playing as well. All of the proceeds from the door will go toward Tim and the crew’s buddy Luke, who broke himself off with no health insurance.

We will have the Fallen Ride the Sky premiere tonight at 8pm, at Project 58. We got a copy of the video yesterday and have already watched it 3 times. There are some really good parts in the video with standouts being Cole, Crocket, Hardy, and Sandoval. It’s FREE, there’s no excuse not to show up!
