The 2009 snowboard season is almost upon us. What’s new for ‘09? How about VU being hand-selected as one of the first sixty stores in the world to be launch partners with Nike Snowboarding. Yep, 1 in 60 shops (number 45 to be exact…) in the whole world. Look for the first run of limited edition Nike Zoom Force 1 snowboard boots to hit our shelves by September 15th. There will also be a small but tight line of Nike snowboard jackets and pants to accompany the boots. The Nike Snowboarding crew was through town today to drop off some goodies and let us get our hands on the finished product and let me tell you, the boots will not disappoint. Stop by Vertical in mid-September to get your hands on some.

Restocked assorted sizes in Lakai Koston Select’s, Telford Low’s, and Kost-Ones; eS Theory Mid’s and Accel TT’s; and Matix jeans in Gripper and Miner fits. Focus is on the smaller sizes in both the shoes and jeans — trying to take care of the little guys.
